1) Eugenics includes set of beliefs that aim to improve the genetic quality of group of individuals. Eugenics may be positive or negative. In positive eugenics, people with benificial traits are allowed to have more children and in negative eugenics, people with non-benificial traits like mental illness were sterilised. Eugenics program spread to Germany from United States.

Negative eugenics was practised in California and Nazi Germany. Forceful sterilisation of the 'defectives' was performed in both californis and Nazi Germany. The common ideological points that brought them together was to improve the genetic quality of population by practising euthanasia, forceful sterilisation, preventing the migration of disabled persons into the country and lethal neglect of persons affected from certain diseases like tuberculosis.
