Yes, you have worn it everywhere you’ve gone outdoors for the last year. And yes, you wear it on the outside of your clothes (it looks cooler and accents your sunglasses). Most kevlar vest are not strong enough to stop highpowered rifle rounds like .308 and 30-06. But they can stop a .223. Since the sniper rounds are sharp enough so, Kevlar vest can not stop high velocity sniper rounds.
Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Polymer which is like cloth but very strong and tough as titanium is a good replacement for the Kevler vests to avoid the penetrating problem in the future.
