1) a. In the plasma membrane as the GPCRs which are responsible for activating G proteins are found spanning membrane.

b. In the nucleus for DNA polymerase and RNA polymerase in the nucleolus.

c. In the rough endoplasmic reticulum (RER). Rough ER is where the process of glycosylation takes place so that enzymes responsible for the process will be localized in RER only.

d. In the golgi apparatus of cell.

e. In the lysosome as these enzymes are mainly found in lysosome.

f. In the vesicles. Clathring comes in use when there is need of coating vesicles. Hence, it would be localized in the vesicles.

g. In the ribosomes. These come in use during translation therefore, elongation factors take them to ribosome.

h. In the nucleus as DNA is present in the nucleus.

2) Missing signal sequence means that the protein will no longer form hydrophobic region. This means that the signal or message that is forwarded to the cell for synthesis will not be transmitted.

3) If the hydrophobic region does not exist then the function of N-terminus will remain unfulfilled and the again transmission will not take place.
