c. Have the factors you identified in 4b, changed more than just the lifespan? Identify at least one way in which these factors have impacted Public health work to end HIV.

6. AIDS is a sexually transmitted disease. It mostly spread from unsafe sex, contaminated body fluid or blood or use of infected needles. In this disease patients immune system become very much weak due to that patient suffers from multiple disease which ultimately leads to the death of patient. There are certain factors (local or federal politics ) which inhibit early war against the AIDS:

Local of Political factors:

National Health system Factors:

a. What would have happened if CDC had more support to investigate the initial outbreak?

     CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) these centers have experts to determine the cause and cure    of the disease outbreaks. If CDC have more experts as well as more funding and facilities they can work    effectively and successfully prevent the outbreak of a disease. If CDC are strengthen it will improve the health conditions of the society.

b. What changes in policy and medicine have improved the life span of HIV positive individuals?

There must be change in the thinking of society towards the AIDS patient. The patient didn’t think isolated himself from society. He must be treated as a normal persons. He must got proper medicine regularly and there should be routine weekly checkup of the patient so that he will be remain disease free and live healthy life for long time. If we took care of these all above factors then definitely there will be increase in the life span of AIDS patient.

C.Have the factors you identified in 4b, changed more than just the lifespan? Identify at least one way in which these factors have impacted Public health work to end HIV.

The above factors are only for the enhancement the life span of AIDS patient, we can start many programs to eradicate AIDS from society. The major steps towards the AIDS eradication is: The awareness in public towards AIDS. When more and more peoples will have knowledge of AIDS and its cause of spreading then definitely they will take precautions to protect themselves from this deadly disease. Till time there is no effective medicine against HIV or AIDS only precautions are the care so when public start taking precautions then automatically this disease will be controlled .
