Explanation / Answer

Influenza virus ishuman respiratory pathogen that cause both seasonal, endemic infections.

An antigenically and genetically diverse group of viruses of the family Orthomyxoviridae that contains a negative-sense, single-stranded, segmented RNA genome.

Three types of influenza viruses affect people, called Type A, Type B, and Type C. Usually, the virus is spread through the air from coughs or sneezes.nfluenza { flu} is a highly contagious illness that can occur in children or adults of any age. It occurs more often in the winter months because people spend more time in close contact with one another. The flu is spread easily from person to person by coughing, sneezing, or touching surfaces.

Antiviral medication may be effective.

The two main classes of antiviral drugs used against influenza are neuraminidase inhibitors, such as zanamivir and oseltamivir.

Prevention

Vaccines can cause the immune system to react as if the body were actually being infected, and general infection symptoms ( cold and flu symptoms are just general infection symptoms) can appear, though these symptoms are usually not as severe or long-lasting as influenza.

Stay at home and taking rest.

Drink a lots of liquids.

Do not smoke or drink alcohol.

consider over the counter medications to relieve flu symtoms.

Traditional flu vaccines ( “trivalent” vaccines) are made to protect against three flu viruses; an influenza A virus, an influenza B virus, and an influenza C virus.
