For my lab report I have to answer the question:

For which kind of compounds is solvent trapping particularly useful and why?

(I think my numbers got all screwed up so I'm not really sure what the answer is supposed to be.  I tested three samples: one "blank" methylene chloride, one containing a mixture of benzene and tridecene in methylene chloride, and one containing benzene, toluene, o-xylene, m-xylene, ethyle benzene, tridecene, and a number of other components in methylene chloride.)

Anyway, can anyone tell me what I was supposed to gather from this lab?  Namely, which kind of compounds solvent trapping is particularly good for measuring?
