3. Frequency of cutting is depended on the number of base pairs at the site.

4. Recombinant DNA is produced by cutting using restriction enzymes and attachment through ligase of two different DNA fragments.

5. By comparing with the marker, the size of DNA fragment can be known in electrophoresis.

7. They are similar in the properties of capillary action and detection of genes. They are different in the use Southern for DNA and Northern for RNA, Western for proteins.
