2 NH3 + 3 Cl2 ----> N2 + 6 HCl Now 2 moles of ammonia gives 6 moles of HCl now we have PV = nRT => mole n = PV/RT => mole of NH3 = 1.5 * 6.5/ 0.0821 * 265 = 0.448 now mole of HCl formed = 6/2 * 0.448 = 1.344 hence volume of HCl = nRT/P = 1.344 * 0.0821 * 250/2.4 = 11.494 L
