Explanation / Answer

Rate =K[NO]m[NO3]n

From 1,2 experiments ,rate increase 2 times and [NO] increased two timed.

Hence 21=2m

m= 1 , First order with respect to NO

And from experiment 2,3 ,rate increases two times and [NO3] increase two times

Hence 21=2n

n=1, first order with respect to NO3.

Rate = K[NO][NO3]

K= Rate/[NO][NO3]

K= 3.60x10*4/1.8x1.8x10*-6

K= 3.60x10*10/3.24

K=1.11x10*10 M-1/s
