Data integrity is the maintenance of and consistency of data over its complete life-cycle. It is important because it ensures that data is accurate and reliable to take certain important decisions. To constantly monitor the data for success. To work for customer satisfaction. To improve resource allocation and utilization

Q 2(b)

For a liner search we have

linearSearch(Array,Key)

So we can see in the example the loop will traverse 4 times until it reaches 1 and return its index i.e. 4

Q2 (c)

The different strategies used in Self Organizing Lists are following:

1) Move-to-Front Method: Any node searched is moved to the front.

2) Count Method: Each node stores count of the number of times it was searched. Nodes are ordered by the order of decreasing count.

3) Transpose Method: Any node searched is swapped with the preceding node.
