1) The following factors affect the fluidity of cell membrane:

2) At low temperature when fluidity of the cell membrane is less, steroids are present in between phospholipid molecules and tend to increase the fluidity. With increase in temperature these steroids don't play any role and there is presence of cholestrol which regulates the increase in membrane fluidity.
