I Assume that any chemical related accident is somewhat related to this also. Hence let start the analysis of the accident.

Let me give you the best example of the most dangereous chemical accident that happen in the history of the india. Yes you got it right i am talking about the " Bhopal Gas tragedy" that happen way back in 1982 in the Bhopal city of Madhya Pradesh india and has killed more than 10,000 peoples.

How the incident Happen ?

The Bhopal disaster or Bhopal gas disaster was an major industrial accident. It happened at a Factory ofUnion Carbide where they are producing pesticide in the city of Bhopal, India. On the night of 2-3 December 1984, the plant accidently leacked 42 tonnes of toxic Methyl Isocyanate (MIC) gas, exposing more than 500,000 innocent people to toxic gases.

A mixture of poisonous gases ran through the city, causing great panic as people woke up with a burning sensation in their lungs. Thousands died immediately from the effects of the gas. Many were tragic in the panic that followed. The first official immediate death toll was 2,200. Another estimate is that 8,010 died within two weeks, that an additional 8,000 have since died from gas-related diseases.

here were several flaws , negliance and mechanical faults,that were found to be the main cause of the accident:

It cause the death of around 10,000 people. This data is actually what company tells but actual data reported by many news channel is around 15,000 and affected the lives of around 1000 peoples.
