Hence iso -propnaol will be the light key and water will be the heavy key component

b) Now as per the data provided in the question we need the distillate in purely liquid form. If we have a partial condensor we will have a liquid stream and a vapor stream as a distillate stream. Hence the option selected is wrong and the option of total condensor should be used
