Explanation / Answer

WE Know that :      Ethanol is Soluble in water as it hasthe ability to form Hydrogen bonds with water.       Ethanol is partially soluble inHexane as it has the non polar chain on it in the form ofhydrocarbon.        Diethyl ether ispartially soluble in water as it has longer non-polar chain andless polarity in the form of C-O-C        Diethyl ether is quitesoluble in hexane because it has longer non-polar chain.        Heptane is insoluble inwater as it is non-polar in nature it has London-dispersion betweenthe molecules whereas the         water is a polarsolvent.         Heptane is solublein hexane as hexane is alsio nonpolar in nature i.e the property ofthe solubility Like dissolves Like.
