Does anyone know of any good bacterial/prokaryotic/microbe databases that focus on characteristics instead of genomic based databases?

Examples of characteristics - gram +/-, motile, catalase-. Also needed is phylogeny starting with domain.

A list of microbes is given for assignment. 10 different characteristics are required for each. Instructor stated that there would be a few good databases online that would provide all the info needed for the given list of microbes. The exact list of microbes is not important as the database will provide information on a vast array of microbes. The real challenge is to find the database.
