Hello, so I am creating a food ordering kiosk sort of app which will run on both ios and android software.

I'm having problems figuring out the best way to go about having the tablet communicate, or send orderes to, the device which will display orders in the kitchen / deli area.

I'm also interested in having tickets printed stating their order in which they can use to pay at the register when their food is made.

Are both of these processes similair? Can you point me to any references or documentation that may help?
