To share same medium for voice and data, we can use Multiplexing technique. In this case we can use Frequecy Division Multiplexing (FDM). In this same medium either air or cable can be use to transmit at the same time. Here frequency is divided for multiple users in bands and these bands can be simulteneously tramsmitted and are seperated at receivers end.
