Yes for an antibiotic there is difference between the susceptibilitybetween gram +ve and gram -ve
Because there is difference in the cell wall of gram positive and negative bacteria i.e.,gram positive bacterial cell wall is mainly composed of peptidoglycans while gram negative lacking it. So the antibiotic acting on peptidoglycan of the cell wall will be effective against gram positive bacteria while gram negative will remain ineffective.
