Question
The question is about enzyme kinetics and i cannot post the data right now.
But i have data from an enzyme with 2 subsrates, or single dispacement.
I am given the different concentrstions of both of the enzymes along with a velocity and i need to find Km for both substrates along with V max.
All that i really know is this:
Please help :)
Single Displacement Kinetics Double-reciprocal form-= of the rate equati 1.ma.(K + KW)G+'-..(l+ orm )) on: IB] Increasing concentration of B (second substrate) 2[B 7 3[B] Slopes are given by mT [B] IA]Explanation / Answer
it is impossible to calculate the Km and Vmax without data. so please show your data.
Any way calculating the Km for substrate 1 first supply the substantial amount of substrate 2 (so that rate of reaction could not be limiting by substrate 2) and then draw the Michalis- Menten graph and then calculate the Km and Vmax.
similarly you can go through substrate 2 for calculating the Km and Vmax for substrate 2.
