A) In basic (NAOH)medium, The increase in concentration of OH- ions will react fully with benzoic acid in acid-base reaction to form water and benzoate ion, which now is soluble in water due to strong ion-dipole forces of attraction and making it polar due to which it is soluble.

In acidic (HCL) medium, The increase in concentration of H+ ions will shift the position of equilibrium, causing benzoic acid to be insoluble in acidic medium.

B) In basic (NAOH)medium, the increase in concentration of OH- ions will react with Ethyl 4-Aminobenzoate and makes the solution basic and the compound is deprotonated making precipitate out of solution. Therefore Ethyl 4-Aminobenzoate is insoluble due to preciptate formed in solution.

In acidic (HCL) medium, Ethyl 4-Aminobenzoate is protonated by H+ ions. This increase in concentration of H+ ions set the acid base equilibrium. Therefore Ethyl 4-Aminobenzoate is soluble.
