Using IR spectrum we can identity only the functional group present in the molecule and we cannot find the complete structure of the compound

In above IR spectrum band at 2837 to 2961 cm-1 is due to aliphatic CH stretching, the band at 1380 to 1438 cm-1 is due to aliphatic CH bending.

And there is no band between 1680 to 1770 cm-1 show the absence of carbonyl group, no band beyond 3000 cm-1 show the absence of aromatic, amino,and hydroxy group .
