The items below give either the dilution ratio or the final concentration of the dye solution. Arrange the dye solutions in order from highest to lowest concentration.

Blue # 1 dye have standard concentration = 4 × 10-6M

Option 1. 6 mL dye and 2 ml water = 4× 10-6× 6/8 = 3×10-6M

Option 2. 4 ml of dye and 4 ml water = 4×10-6× 4/8 = 2× 10-6M

Option 3. 1mL dye and 0 ml of water = 4× 10-6×1/1 = 4×10-6 M

Option 4. 1 mL of dye and 0 ml water = 4× 10-6 M same in option 3.

Option 5. 5 uM dye solution = 5× 10-6 M

Order of concentration of dye from higher to lower

5 uM dye > 1 ml of dye and 0 ml water ( option 3&4) > 6 ml of dye and 2 ml of water > 4 ml of dye and 4 ml of water.
