Explanation / Answer
(2)
Amino acids have 2 pKa's and 3 pka's values because they have two and three ionisable groups respectively
We know amino acids have at least two such groups - the C and N terminal. Many other amino acids also have a side-chain which is ionisable, and will have its own pKa, giving these amino acids three separate pKas.
3)
The pKa value measures the acidity of a solution based on how the hydrogen ions of the acid dissociate when added to an aqueous solution.
In third pka, number of replacable hydrogen ions of acids are 3.
Example :- phosphoric acid, represented by the molecular formula H3PO4, has three hydrogen atoms, it dissociates three times, into H2PO4-, HPO42-and PO43-. The pKa value is based on the Ka value, which is called the acid dissociation constant.
