Question
There is no mystery as to why these CEOs continue to behave in the unethical and disgusting manner in which they do... They are continuously rewarded instance after instance. there needs to be legislation that forbids boards from compensating executives who become embarrassments to public trust. When the person earning typical wages gets fired, they are just out of a job and must deal with the consequences which comes along with their termination which includes in most instances, facing eviction or foreclosure on their homes. Why should people be concerned about their actions if they are going to be rewarded with a multi-million dollar severance package. It's funny how we just finished reading about and discussing the effective motivational approaches to retaining employees, only to read latter about motivating certain other employees to get fired and receive consequences that everyday law abiding tax paying individuals would love to suffer..
Explanation / Answer
Ans - Reason behind CEO,s unethical behaviour is their power, status and money they think they can do anything as they are so call boss of the organization and employees don't have power and money to fight against unethical behaviour even most of the time other also don't support in fear of boss and job security and finally even government haven't made any strict rules and norms for this kind of injustice and unethical behaviour. Employee who got terminated without any valid reason he has to suffer a lot not only financially but emotionally and mentally day by day he/she become weeks now a days due to high unemployment CEO,s and other managers is doing regularly and due to that maximum employees are highly dissatisfied.
Hence government should make some stick norms against this kind of unethical practices and we all should take actions and support other to fight against these kind of unethical corporate practices.
