there is a saying "dream as a team", which says the importance of team work. also the old saying is the one two heads are better than one head.
human are variable skilled people who have unique talent, where the other may good in some other area. understanding the organizational goals, to achieve them individuals become as a team and put all the efforts to reach the goal; it is the simple objective and process of team work.
the main requirement of team work is understanding and coordinating each other, then the team can reach new highs and they can achieve all the goals of organizations.
team work helps the people to improve their performance in the areas where they are lacking, and in the areas where they are weak they can increase their potentials and develop them self.
by realizing the above said principles, US firms are encouraging and developing team work. and many of those organizations are implementing team appraisal process, where the team performance considered for performance evaluation.
