1. My favorite product that I recently purchased using social media was Olay cream. The advertisement for the cream was on Facebook. The positioning statement being used by the company is that Olay takes exceptional care of skin by incorporating the latest advances in skin care technology. The brand is positioned for all women with a desire for beautiful and healthy skin. Olay is the brand of cream that holds the philosophy that it is important to offer skin care products that understand and cater to the changing needs of women.
The brand character is popular as the product delivers on its promise of offering strong performance and that too at a good value. The blend of science and understanding of requirement of women has defined the brand very strongly.
The social media that I had used was Facebook. The positioning statement was clearly portrayed. The advertisement showed how Olay makes use of latest advances in skin care technology in an effort to make the user's skin healthy as well as beautiful.
