- Yahoo has been pushed to corner by the competitive forces as it could not innove itself, to be at par with other players.
- The primary job of the new CEO will be to induct a culture in the organization for innovation, and adapt some rapid changes to match the pace with which the outside world is moving.
- The CEO made the follwing commet soon after resuming the office : “Let’s give Yahoo! some frigging breathing room...and we are going to focus on really getting outward looking and kick some butt.”
- We can infer from the above statement that she is really not much happy with the employess who are there since years and are not willing to adapt new practices.
