Question
It's important to understand what the law allows regarding workplace discrimination against gays, lesbians, transgenders, and those with bi-gender identity orientation. It will also be important to to differentiate between your personal feelings about the issue and the role they must take as a manager, supervisor or business owner who must uphold the law. Ultimately, judging employees must be based on relevant work-related criteria. Discuss applicable laws required, and how to avoid liability for discrimination in this increasingly important emerging area.
Explanation / Answer
The law is equal for everbody that is citizen of the country and their are no separate laws for the gays, lesbians, transgenders, bigender who are working in the corporate world or the industry. International labor law has made one law that is applicable to the citizen of the country. One has to abide by the rules and regulation and see that their is no violation. My personal feeling is that the Honble constitution has done the right thing and has set a single law which needsto be followed without any discrimination. The employees need to be judged by their work and their assessment should also be done based on their work and performance.
