Question
It's about climate change. Instructions for Research Paper: The paper should be approximately 1200 words double-spaced, with footnotes and a Works Cited page. Please note that the paper must include at least 3References and appropriate citations or footnotes. Although any science topic would be fine, I am suggesting Global Warming or Climate Change as the topic. It is current, important and there are different aspects of the problem that the manuscript can address. It can therefore appeal to the diverse interests that I assume exist in the class One important item that you should include in your work is scientific discussion and/or analysis. In short, this means to demonstrate how the data support or are consistent with the accepted scientific theory. This is at the heart of all natural sciences. They are empirical disciplines that demand confirmation of theories with the facts, as they are currently known. Please note that the alignment of data and theory may be good, or very good, but not necessarily perfect. This is part of the analysis that scientists (and you in this paper) must do. The rest of the paper can address the biological, sociological, economic and any other aspects of the effect that you would like to include. My recommendation, however, is that you should not try to include or describe too much information in a relatively short paper. Instead of breadth, you should concentrate on depth. For instance, you can discuss the ramification, in detail, for the environment and how that will impact human and other life-forms. Alternatively, you may want to emphasize for detailed discussion and analysis some new technologies that are currently being developed to produce energy in a more eco-friendly manner. These are merely examples and the direction the paper will take is really up to you The following references to relevant papers may be useful. They are from Scientific American and written at a relatively understandable level. Indeed, these papers also contain other references that you may want to use. However, you do not need to use any of these. The choice is yours 1) The Physical Science behind Climate Change: August 2007: Scientific American Magazine; by William Collins, Robert Colman, James Haywood, Martin R. Climate is the important factor for environment and whole human life. climate of any region refers that the particular weather condition of that region. climate of an area measure by the wind, precipitation, humidity, atmospheric pressure, and atmospheric temperature of that region. climate can not be mixed with weather, weather can be changed in a day , in a week, or in a month but climate remains same for a 30 years or above.Thw standard average period of the climate is 30 years.
climate change is the phenomena of the changing in the climate conditions through naturally or by anthropogenic effect. internal process of the earth, solar radiation, biotic factors etc are the natural factors for the climate change. there is a short description of these factors-
1. ocean atmospheric interaction- ocean-atmospheric interaction is very important factor for the climate change. thermohaline circulation, el nino southern oscillation, pacific decadal oscillation, Atlantic multidecadal oscillation are some oceanic process whic are impacted climate.
2. solar radiation- solar radiation is also important for climate variation. solar output to the earth is the reason behind the increased or decreased temperature of the earth. temperature of the earth is also affect the wind direction of the region which is another factor which is responsible for the climate variation.
3. plate tectonics- plate tectonics is the very powerful factor for climate variation, if any region having a plate tectonic activity, climate of that region can change very soon. Due to plate tectonic activity there is several changes in the environment like temperature increased, wind direction changed, change in geography of that area etc. these all changes in the environment are causes for the climate change.
4. volcanism- volcanic eruption can change the environment very frequently because of its volcanic ash, magma, volcanic hazard, which are responsible for the climate change
5. Anthropogenic effect- climate is impacted by human activity , industrial infrastructure, anthropogenic emission, traffic pollution, air pollution, water pollution, these all factors are impacted climate. greenhouse gases like methane, carbon dioxide, water vapor, etc are increased in the atmospher because of human activity. these gases are capable to stored solar radiation thats why these are dangerous to us . there is a particular term is present for this process which is global warming
ethics of climate change- there is also some ethics about climate, it has research about ethical dimension of climate change.
Abrupt climate change- when new climate state is forced by climate system and it is determined by climate system energy balance ,its called abrupt climate change.
climate change is natural phenomena but because of human activity this process is increased very badly which is not good for future prospective. we have to stop here otherwise we will destroyed our environment.there is a several organisation which are continuously working for the protection of climate. some are intergovernmental panel on climate change , climate change organization for the country, climate change ministries etc. they are provide some rules and regulation and climate policies for the country and human socities which is followed by some countries. we have to strictly followed these rules and regulations for our environment, for our better future, for our next generation and first of all for ourselves.
