You know the manager is not bluffing; you have seen coworkers who openly disagreed with company policy be bullied and intimidated by management, or ultimately fired. You know you have to play by the company’s rules if you want to get ahead keep your job—even if that means going against what you know is right. The channel approached me for an interview to discuss about the my job, pay increases, and bonuses. My Response:

The job is challenging in nature and requires a lot of effort to meet the final goal. It makes us to follow the unconventional (unethical practices) ways to make the things happen but it seems acceptable as these methods has been followed by other company’s employee also to make the best in business. The main focus is to find the loop holes in existing system and get the work done because result is the only that matter to the company. Moreover, these practices result in good result which raises the company’s bottom line and indirectly performer’s pay. The company has made a performance oriented policy which focuses on increase in employee’s pay if it brings equivalent business and meets the given target every time. The company is very strict in its policy and not expecting any looseness in performance or argument which sometime result in firing of an employee. Such strictness makes the person on its toes always and focus on meeting the work target and compliance without caring about ethical nature. The policy is very clear and followed strictly, and doesn’t allow any sort of questioning about it because if an employee doesn’t follow it then there are many who will follow and complete the task. Thus working in such an environment is tough but a new aspect about the working environment thus helps in personal and makes the person more mature.
