Question

Do right and wrong truly exist, or is right and wrong a matter of personal opinion? By this I do not mean that EVERYTHING is a matter of right and wrong, but rather are there at least somethings right or wrong no matter what I think? Or is EVERYTHING a matter of personal opinion? (Please note that there is an either/or question, not a both/and. It would be totally illogical to claim that right and wrong truly exist but that it is a matter of personal opinion. And please, do not say that you believe that there is right or wrong, but that even that is an opinion. Every answer you give will be a claim. The question is whether or not there is enough evidence to support your claim.)

Explanation / Answer

Right and wrong are two aspects of the same coin. Of course what is right and what is wrong can be according to the situation of the person, at which he decides. Or the mindset or just a personal opinion. Decision are matter to alter, subject to elucidation, and / or relative to the person. Offcourse not all decisions / stands are dependents to the above factors.

For e.g. facts, absolute laws etc. Human blood is red in color or the present president of the USA is Obama. So even anyone thinks this is right and wrong, doesn’t matter.

Personal factors do play a crucial on the decisions taken. As per the situation or mind set or time, even one’s personal opinion can change. And all views are equally valid, as per the situation

For e.g. The theory of the origin of life in earth. In earlier days any person who said it’s not Gods hand, but some other factor which has given way to this phenomenon, would had been considered wrong. But with now development of Science, the same people would consider him or her right.

Some matters can never be absolute right or wrong, no matter how right or wrong it seem to be.

For e.g. Terrorism. No practical person will support Terrorism. But still there are people who can think otherwise.
