Linear programing can be used in logistics to obtain optimal results by applying optimal process selection, optimal product mix, satisfying minimum product requirements, long-run capacity planning and more. Linear programing can also be used to determine to reduce cost as needed, find additional goods and services that can increase profitability or reduce risks in other areas.
