This is pure case of Psychology .As per asked in question yes I am agree with the  statement. Argument affects on the audience implicitly or explicitly. See human is social animal. Human leaves in society .He/She attends various function , Went for programs ,Works in organization ,Attend the meeting , Travel to various areas etc

Now while doing all these things he / she interacts with so many people.With having following features.

1) Different culture

2) Different area

3) Different work

4) Positive People

5) Negative people

6) Attitudes

etc

Now when Human is going through all these aspects , that affects implicitly  or explicitly on him / her.

Specifically arguments , when arguments said by a specific speaker , this reach to n no of people .These people takes this in their own which again have cascading effects.

In Implicit arguments these effects on the Human being in internal way .These affects on their over all personality that includes though process , behavior , working style , dedication , attachment etc

In Explicit arguments these affects on human being in external way.These are mostly associated with team , group .The thoughts , discussion which is going in group , team that is termed as Explicit arguments.

For organization culture both study are important.
