Explanation / Answer

To develop any new medicine or drug, alot of research and scientific study goes in alon with the hardwork and time.

It requires manpower, infrastructure, and amenities to find a new drug for cure of any disease. Since pharmaceutical industry does not have any support from local government or from WHO for that matter in regard to the research for new drug, `industry needs to be profit driven to sustain itself and keep the investors and employee happy so that company can have the required talent pool specialized in the field of reseach.
