I was involved in an activity of organizing a volley ball tournament. My manager has placed several controls on me to ensure that the tournament was going on very well without any hiccups. Two of the controls that he had on me to ensure that are
I was asked to maintain an enrollment register. Whenever a team comes in to enroll themselves to play in the tournament I would have to collect the enrollment fee from that team and would make the entry in the enrollment register. A computer system was also provided to me at that enrollment counter and I would make the entry in the computer system for that particular enrollment. My manager would be able to cross check in the computer system, on who many enrollments have gone so far.
Another thing is that I have a lodging and food allocation portal in the computer system. Once the enrollment fee is received, I would have to allot them with the corresponding lodging and the food arrangements. The teams would be in their lodging facility within the campus until their matches are scheduled. Food arrangements are also done in the lodging itself.
These are two controls that my manager has made on me to ensure that all the process in making the tournament a success is going on well.
