Organisation behaviour deals with the behaviour of the people in a group or as an individual. It is important for managers to understand organisation behaviour because their most part has to deal with the organisation behaviour as they have to get work done by the team or individuals which requires motivating them and work as a part of team effectively and efficiently.

The core job of a manager is to manage people working under him, which requires understanding the behaviour of the people working under him so that he can manage them.
