Politics in organisation is nowadays an inevitable part , I comprises of process and behaviour in human interactions involving power and authority It is the ability to utilise social networking and other inter personal skills in favour of organisational requirements. Organisational politics can enhance productivity and expedite change. But at the same time it can be destructive like employees become more self-oriented and their relationship becomes professionally centred. The people who are introvert and not interested in such politics gradually will move out from the lime light of the organisation even if they work really hard and dedicated.

In the meeting in order to guide those employees how to actively take part in organisation politics I will try to execute referent power. The power use to convey a sense of personal acceptance or approval. I will explain the things that actively involved in politics of organisation such as building alliances, work with objectives and healthy competitions between teams to enhance their visibility in the organisation. The referent power I will use in the form of motivation and to mould them in the way they wanted to be in the organisation. As I realised that they are valuable resources in terms of their capability. But inability to adjust with the political situation actually pulls them backward and gradually their productivity getting tampered because of this. I suggested some way to get involved in politics with positive approach. Small gossiping, small groupism that regularly there in politics must be wisely used got their individual development in the organisation.

I will stress on two important aspects of organisation politics. A.) Cultivating network .B.) Managing Impression ( impression management)

Networking plays a huge role in current corporate world. More we exposed to outside the comfort zone more opportunity we can grab. The same principle is applicable in organisation. Networking helps in understanding cultural diversity and enhances social behaviour It can also use to increase the knowledge in various subjects. We can understand our limitations and will get retrospection about our self that where we stand in the organisation or group. Take the positive aspects out of this and get rid of from cheap tricky politics like abusing or gossiping.

Managing impression is very much required to keep appositive note to the senior management. The work has to be recognised and must be evaluated in the right way through this impression management. An employee always has to create a good impression not just to the team members but to the whole organisation. For that proper co-ordination and team spirit with a trait of a leadership nature has to be performed simultaneously. New initiatives has to be taken and that has to be publicised to the management.

The choices are important as they are in a very hopeless stage at present and they required their own personal strategies to be worked out to climb the ladder in the organisation. Beating the competition and politics and to move forward they need a proper mentoring and monitoring of activities.
