selling price of jackewts (x2) = $40

Objective = 50x1 + 40 x2

Constraints:

x1 + 1.5 x2 <= 750

2 x1 + 1x2<= 1000

x1 and x2 are non negative variables

For solving the constraints wequations we can assume that both the equations are equal.

then

Solving the following eqns

x1 +1,5 x2 = 750

2x1 + 1x2 = 1000

we will get x1 (pants) = 375 and

x2 (jackets) = 250

Which will result a reveue of 50 X 375 +40 X 250 = $28,750
