Question
Think about the causes of success and failure for particular movements. What causes some to become widely appealing and have major impacts on change? What causes others (regardless of the validity of their concerns) to simply wither away in the dustbin of history? Can you think of some that have evolved into stable organizations without much impact on social change? Can you identify others that have become stable enterprises of sorts, constantly selling T-shirts and other emblems without doing much.

I strongly believe that what causes a movement to be successful is if it is in favor of the majority or if is trying to fix a social problem, this is when people come together to fight for a solution.
The most common example is the civil right movement that had the main goal to provide equal conditions to African American who suffered from racism and hate from most people in the United States, this was a problem because there were white people who think African Americans deserved less than them and this is why there was so much racism and hate but this is when people came together protesting pacifically for their civil rights, many died on this movement but it was for a greater good
