A ) The importance of the quote is that it states the actual need and significance of efficiency in operational terms. If we strive for efficiency in all our actions and plans, we need to focus and measure all the necessary attributes that play a crucial role in the process. For example , if we need to forecast the sales for the next quater, I have to consider all the sale reports of previous quarters to estimate.If i coinsider th einfracture details in measuring the forecast for sales, I would definelty end up in adisaster mistake.I need to take into consideration of the sale related documents.Things I measure are the things that value the profits I can estimate.

Organizational developmental interventions are a set of series of activities , which have to be done by a certain functional department but the it results in ( directly or indirectly ) overall organizational development.

A ) If my intervention has not given me the anticipated results, I would check for the drawbacks in my intervention. Has my intervention completely understood the problem . What is the area, we missed and the effects of that area.I would take a step and evaluate my intervention .A survey to again gather th required data for my ntervention.What went wrong and how it went wrong, would be first questions to correct my internvention.
