Dr. Frankenstein is given instructions to remove the thyroid gland of a patient suffering from a thyroid tumor. It has been awhile since he attended medical school, but the doctor goes ahead with his surgery with full confidence. After surgery is over, he sends the removed tissue to the pathologist. When the pathology report is turned in to the hospital, Dr. Frankenstein is placed under investigation for surgical incompetence. He made a grave error in his hasty removal of the gland that may cause other endocrine problems in the patient.

A removal of thyroid gland would also lead to the removal of parathyroid gland , this could be the errorr in his hasty removal of the gland.

B. function of the parathyroid gland would be severely affected like , regulation of calcium would be severly affected.
