This lock is not necessarily a lock with keys. It is a high-security bolt seal that has a serial number, which must not be broken, manipulated or destructed iin any way. The seal is marked with letters CBP and that too with a serial number. After inspection, the first seal is put inside the checked container and is packed with another seal. both the seals' serial numbers must be sent to the host country's port, which can be matched after the shipment arrives.

This absolutely enhances containers security as if the container has to be opened the seal must be removed and once seal removed the manipulated container wil not be accepted at the port. And then it can be verified for any potential threats.
