1. If you watched the Super Bowl, discuss which commercials were the most effective at selling/introducing a product or reinforcing a brand? Which commercials didn't work? Were there some where you remember the commercial but not what company/product it was advertising?
2. A 30-second ad on the Super Bowl cost $5 million this year. What products/companies do you think should consider investing in a Super Bowl ad? Name specific industries and define their target markets in terms of demographics. If you were a marketing manager considering spending $5 million on such an ad, what would you be hoping to accomplish?

Yes i have watched a super bowl advertisement. The commercial which i found out to be effective is of COCA- COLA .I found that the ad was success ful in selling his product via ad as it shows the image of the drink as that of the friendly drink that could be drank by anyone ,anywhere.
The super bowl commercial which according to me didn't work is that of TIDE according to me it was not able to describe anything thrugh there super bowl ad to the consumer so that it could encourange or influence them to buy more of it.
YEs there is a commercial which i remember is that some warriors are fighting in the warzone and suddenly an another warrior came and went into the shop and something like that .This was the add in which i didn't remember about the product or company they were advertising.

According to me the those companies should adopt such advertisement who are well established some where in the world.Because chances of increasing sales through such advertisement is high as compare to those companies who have just entered the market.
To spend such a big amount of money it is not justified if you have no existing customers in the market. Because chances of incresing sales through such an expensive add is very less as compare to other established companies.
According to me the beverages industries such as coca cola etc. who are well established can advertise such ads as the chances of incresing sales is high as compare to other industries

If i was a marketing manager and if have to spend such a big amount on advertising ,i would have properly analyised the market that is the past sales figures ,study of the consumers,etc.and if after that i found out that the sales could be incresed with the help of the advertising ,then only i would have suggested to use such an advertisement.
