This could be through telephone, email, social media, or apps. This type of marketing is beneficial to sellers because they can understand what customers need, change prices, or immediately personalize offers to their customers all from their fingertips. They are also able to provide service through online chats which help customers navigate and find things on company's apps and websites. In addition, sellers are able to advertise on social medias and spread new promotions to a wider market. As for buyers, the ability to access information conveniently and fast is important. It allows buyers to see products and understand buying information through their phones, tablets, and computers. Also, it provides a since of community and engagement to customers. Direct and digital marketing has allowed the buying process to occur at a faster rate then in stores alone.
