Music sampling is involved with the use of short segment of original work's element in a music compilation. The new musical work is the mash up and two or new press existing songs create it. Musical copyright infringement is linked with what is done with the Mashup

There is substantial risk carried for legal consequences for music copyright infringement. The artist who tends to sample without any kind of permission does infringement on copyright of sound recording and composition. The infringement duality exists because of the track with samples from sound recordings that are presented existing and considered as derivative work. Hence it is important for the artist to require permission from the owners of the copyright owners. The sample can be sometimes short and it is important to make fair use of the exception of copyright law.
