Question

CAN YOU PLEASE GIVE ME SOME MORE KEY TAKE AWAYS FROM THIS ARTICLE?

My results from the Myers-Briggs Indicator Assessment showed that I am an ENFJ meaning I have a protagonist personality.

Protagonists are natural-born leaders, full of passion and charisma. Forming around two percent of the population, they are oftentimes our politicians, our coaches and our teachers, reaching out and inspiring others to achieve and to do good in the world. With a natural confidence that begets influence, Protagonists take a great deal of pride and joy in guiding others to work together to improve themselves and their community.

After reading the description of my results, it makes a lot of sense to me how I chose to be a teacher so easily. I make it my goal every day to inspire my students to be the best that they can be both academically and in the world. I take pride in myself and my work. I think this helps me as a teacher, because it shows that I take my job seriously and that I truly care about the outcomes of my students. I am extremely empathetic which helps me communicate with my students on an emotional level which helps them to see that I care about them as individuals as well. The description of an ENFJ seems to be that people with this type of personality are leaders and take pride in leading the charge, uniting and motivating others with infectious enthusiasm. It is important for teachers to have characteristics of this personality to inspire students and challenge them to meet their goals in education and in life. I think that having this type of personality can be help with relating to diversity in my classroom and be helpful in teaching students because I am enthusiastic, I genuinely believe in my students, and I have the capability of showing them that I truly care about them and their ability to learn.
