Question
You were searching online for an employee handbook and found a template that seemed to be pretty good. Because you are in a time crunch, you decide that you will simply use Find and Replace to put your company name in the appropriate places and leave the rest of the document as is. Since this was a free template, there are no copyright issues. Should you have proofread and edited the entire document before submitting it to your supervisor or will it be fine?
Need answer asap and don't plagarize!
Explanation / Answer
We have to proof read and edit the entire document before submitting it to the supervisor as there woulld be so many issues which needs to be edited. Apart from the name of the company, the category of employees, the number of employees, and different requirements are also there which needs revision and editing. It is also possible that the template contains general scenario or some assumptions which may or may not be applicable to our current company. Thus, even if the template is taken online and there is no copyright issues then also it requires, revison, editing and proofread before submitting it to the supervisor.
