It has been suggested that the Internet, due to the ease with which misrepresentation and fraud is possible, it not a very child-friendly place. Put yourself in the context of a parent with several primary-education children who want to fully embraced the Internet and participate in as much of the connected experience as they can. With the growing concerns over the use of proper use of internet especially in the case of the children, we can say that people should realize that internet has its benefits when it comes to how it can be utilized by the children especially in the quest to achieve knowledge, interconnectivity with everybody and even performing better in their school environment. It is necessary, that as a parent, we guide our children toward the proper use of internet from an early age. Not just about the g0ood aspects but the bad as well. This would include educating them about the threats that internet inherently possess, especially now, when the attackers have made it their mission to pry into the lives of individuals, children can be an easy target to them especially if they are not proper measures and ways to combat this threat. We should also develop proper monitoring over their internet activities. It does not mean prying into their lives, but, proving proper oversight and maintenance in order to prevent them from experiencing thing they do not have the ability to handle properly.

What this would mean is utilizing monitoring software which allows the parent complete control over the entire home network as well as utilizing software-based control to only allow the safe sites to be displayed in order to teach the kids the proper use of the internet. It should also be a priority to use the same techniques in the school network and their personal cell phones, if need be, in order to allow them the time and learn for themselves, the rights and wrong of their life. This should not stop them from making a mistake, which is a general part of growing into a healthy life. Rather, it should act as a buffer to allow them to experience the bad, without being harmed by its effects.
