Starbucks use the centralized system to monitor and govern its vast supply chain network. Doing so the company concentrate and provide for easy mobility of required things in delivery of services to the customer. Starbucks manages and have complete control over its ware house, distribution centers and suppliers. Starbucks benefit by incorporating this strategy by having on time delivery, transparency and cost savings and meeting out the demands.

The technology plays a very important part in this whole process making supply chain more effective and efficient.

It uses and automated system wherein the demand can be assessed by the company and thereby it produces accordingly. The company can well in advance prepares and make strategy and designate the work and use its supply chain to produce to meet the customer demands. There is mechanism to feed the information related to many things like product shortage, number of stocks and products that are short etc. are all help the company to bring its supply chain in action.
