Explanation / Answer

The future scenario for education and technological institute’s like School of Information Technology at Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology is predicted to be focusing on specialisations, importance will be given to International focus, Polarisation will be there in status of staff and high use e-earning and role of ICT’s will grow. This will bring two major changes in teaching process that Teaching will be more focused on specialization and using high technology equipment’s. Human factors will struggle as more focus will be given to technology and internationalization. These assumptions has been developed by analysing various variables like International dimension of education, the boom of e-research, study missions, etc. This will impact the current EA view by taking teaching and education to another level. Future scenario believes in education for all ages (Open and Lifelong) using mixed funding and strong research which will overcome the current drawbacks in teaching process and styles. Technological Institutes like School of Information Technology will see major change in technological mission’s oriented research sponsored by both public and private sector. This will increase the scope of teaching to the most practical aspect of acquiring education. Free market will exist which will give more power to private institution’s and market forces will give rise to new institutions that are specialised with different objectives. It will give more importance to diverse colleges and less to the universities.
